Both Sharon Hinck and Christopher Hopper have dragged me into this one. 🙂 (Gee, thanks, y’all.)
It was started by Becky Miller the Real (as opposed to Becky Miller the Fictional), and she posted five books each under three categories: Must Reads, Keep Your Eyes On These, and Coming Soon. Each player has to replace one title with another in each category, indicating what book they added, and WHY (as per Becky’s request). So, without further ado…
MUST Reads :
DragonSpell by Donita K. Paul
(I’m changing TWO because I was tagged twice! I’m adding this because, well, Donita is Donita and Kale is Kale and Fenworth is Fenworth … and it all must be experienced to be appreciated!)
Demon: a Memoir by Tosca Lee (NavPress)
Broken Angel by Sigmund Brouwer (WaterBrook)
The Restorer by Sharon Hinck (NavPress)
Isle of Fire by Wayne Thomas Batson (Tommy Nelson)
(I added this one because I’ve read it most recently and just LOVED the story! Wayne’s writing style has strengthened hugely since his first book, and the individual characters are not to be missed!)
Keep Your Eyes On These :
Scarlet by Stephen Lawhead (Thomas Nelson)
On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness by Andrew Peterson (WaterBrook)
Auralia’s Colors by Jeffrey Overstreet (WaterBrook)
The Legend of the FireFish by George Bryan Polivka (Harvest House)
In Between by Jenny B. Jones (NavPress)
(I added this because my non-reading 14 year old daughter has read this THREE TIMES! And talks about the characters. And now writes with her own unique chick-lit voice. Who knew??)
FIVE BOOKS TO LOOK FOR SOON:
Shade by John Olson (B&H)
Field of Blood by Eric Wilson (Thomas Nelson)
Stepping into Sunlight by Sharon Hinck (Bethany)
Eternity’s Edge by Bryan Davis (Zondervan)
Shadow of Colossus by T.L. Higley
(Added because of the glowing recommendation by my friend and crit partner Ronie.)
And I’m tagging…
Ronie (of course 😉 )
James (because you need more complications in your life! LOL)
Tiff
Stuart
Lee. Because.

Love it, Shannon. Thanks so much for taking part.
FYI, I didn’t have that last category in the original. Some of my first tagged bloggers added entire categories!
This really is too much fun.
