Something fun

Because my brain is still totally scorched from the last few weeks ….

What American accent do you have?

Your Result: The Midland

“You have a Midland accent” is just another way of saying “you don’t have an accent.” You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

The West

The Northeast

The South

Wow! I’m Midland, too. What a relief to know I’ve not picked up too much of a southern drawl down here in tha heart of Dixie!! When I’m really tahred, I know I sound like the Texan I am 🙂

Midland. I actually sometimes pronounce words in two different ways. This was tough. Cause I lived in the Bronx for 12 formative years, then moved south to Miami. So, I might say a word differently, depending on if I’m harkening to NYC or have a smoothened out accent.

It’s like sometimes I say either like EEE and sometimes like I.
